Description

The Precision Hunter Ammunition sets a new standard for hunting performance, with the advanced all–range Hornady ELD–X bullet featuring a patented Heat Shield tip. With its high velocity, 0–400 yard impact, the bullet continually expands throughout its penetration path, resulting in 85–90% retained weight and a large mushroom. At low velocity, 400+ yard impacts, the Heat Shield tip drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion. This ammunition is new production, non–corrosive, and comes in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases. The 300 PRC is an intelligently crafted 21st century magnum cartridge designed to take advantage of long, heavy for caliber bullets, providing excellent chamber alignment and highly tuned performance. It uses common, temperature stable, magnum speed rifle powders and produces extremely consistent velocity and increased barrel life compared to currently available magnum cartridges.
