The Berger VLD Target Rifle Bullet is renowned as one of the flattest shooting Rifle Bullets available. Featuring a secant ogive design, this bullet experiences less drag in flight and is thus capable of shooting flatter, experiencing less wind–drift, and retaining greater velocity than other bullets. The popular loading technique for the VLD is to have it touch the rifling for single–shot applications, although some rifles may require up to .150“ from the rifling. Highly favored for competitive long range shooting, these bullets are crafted with J4 Precision Rifle Bullet jackets and are widely used by custom Rifle Bullet makers.
