Summit Muzzleloader Action
SUMMIT muzzleloader actions boast all the same great features as SUMMIT centerfire actions but are designed specifically for long-range muzzleloaders. Precision hunters and shooters will appreciate the slotted bolt face that was created to use priming modules from Hankins Precision and Arrowhead rifles. The slot is timed perfectly to load through the port with ease.
One difference of the SUMMIT muzzleloader action compared to centerfire actions is that the bolt stop was moved forward so the bolt stops in the correct spot every time for easy loading of the priming module. To add even greater accuracy and reliability, we added an awesome spiral fluting to the nitride finished bolt.
This SUMMIT muzzleloader action still has a Remington 700 footprint, integrated recoil lug, and a pinned base that utilizes 8-40 screws. The thread tenon on the SUMMIT muzzleloader action is 18TPI!
